How We Started

Landscape Material & Firewood Sales began with a simple idea: do the job right. What started as one truck hauling sand, gravel, soil, and mulch around DuPage County grew into a multi-location operation manufacturing clean, consistent materials, loaded fast and delivered on schedule. The name is bigger; the promise is the same: answer the phone, show up on time, and stand behind every product we sell.

Milestones

First truck; local hauling begins.

More routes, more products - sand, gravel, mulch, compost, soil.

We invest in our own manufacturing for consistent quality.

Multiple locations and a larger fleet serve more of Chicagoland.

Quick FAQ

Most Chicagoland areas, please call for timing and fees.

To figure out how much mulch you need, you first need to find the square footage of the area you want to cover. To do this, multiply the length of the space by the width. Once you have the square footage, you can use a mulch calculator to determine how many cubic yards you need based on your desired depth. A typical depth for mulch is 2-3 inches.

Unlike standard seasoned firewood, our kiln-dried wood is processed to remove excess moisture, making it easier to light and longer lasting. Whether you’re heating your home through the winter, hosting backyard gatherings, or fueling a wood-fired oven, you can count on Landscape Material & Firewood Sales, Inc. firewood for steady, reliable performance.
